Why three different networks exist
Lounge access networks act as middlemen between banks, card issuers, and lounge operators. Priority Pass is the largest global network. DreamFolks dominates Indian domestic lounge partnerships for HDFC, ICICI, SBI, Axis, and other banks. DragonPass is common on Asia-Pacific and some international card products.
A lounge may accept one network but not another. Your card's welcome kit or benefits page states which network applies.
Priority Pass
Best for international travel and US/UK premium credit cards. Includes 1,400+ lounges globally. Guest fees and visit caps depend on how you enrolled (credit card vs paid membership). Some locations are restaurant credits rather than traditional lounges.
- Global coverage
- Common on Amex Platinum, Chase Reserve, Venture X
- Separate from Indian domestic DreamFolks lists
DreamFolks
Primary network for Indian bank card domestic lounge access. Verification happens at the lounge desk via card swipe or QR. Visit limits follow your bank's quarterly cap, not DreamFolks' own unlimited policy.
- Dominant in India domestic terminals
- Tied to bank visit quotas
- Guest rules set by issuing bank
DragonPass
Used by select international and Asia-issued cards. Works similarly to Priority Pass — app or card verification at participating lounges. Always confirm the lounge lists your specific program.
