Domestic lounge access in India

Domestic lounges in India primarily operate through bank partnerships and programs such as DreamFolks. Your card’s domestic visit quota applies. Lounges are located after domestic security — you need a same-day domestic boarding pass.

Not all premium cards include international lounge visits on the same quota. Some cards offer several domestic visits but fewer (or no) international visits.

International lounge access

International lounges may use Priority Pass, airline alliances, or direct airline lounge access. Rules often require a same-day international boarding pass and may exclude domestic-to-international connections in some airports.

  • Switch Lounge Access Finder to International mode for international-side results
  • Alliance lounges usually require flying that airline or a partner
  • US and EU lounges often enforce same-day departure rules strictly

Why the search toggle matters

Searching Domestic for an international departure (or the reverse) is a common reason for empty results or wrong lounge lists. Always match the toggle to your flight type first, then airport and terminal.

At airports like MAA or COK, some terminals are effectively international-only for published lounge data. If Domestic + that terminal shows no lounges, try International or another terminal — do not assume the data is broken.

Connecting flights

If you connect domestic to international at the same airport, confirm which boarding pass the lounge accepts during your layover. Terminal transfers may require exiting and re-entering security.

Sometimes, if the lounge is on the international side and your card includes international visits. Search with International mode and your specific terminal, then confirm with the lounge desk.
